Spotless Terms of Use
Last updated: [[date]] Version: 0.1 (draft)
Spotless is provided by [[LemonByte LLP]] to the business you work for or with. These terms apply to you as a person using it.
What Spotless is for
Spotless shows you your work, records the checks you complete, and keeps track of what needs fixing, for the property that gave you your account. Your employer decides what you can see and do in it.
Using it properly
You agree to:
- use your own account, keep your PIN and password to yourself, and tell your manager if you think someone else has used them;
- record checks truthfully, as you actually did them;
- never photograph people: photos are of surfaces, equipment and stock; frame what you are checking and leave guests' belongings out where you can;
- not try to see other people's or other properties' information you were not given, or to break or get around how Spotless works; and
- not use Spotless messages to send anything unlawful, abusive or unrelated to work.
Your employer or Spotless may remove access that breaks these rules.
Your information
How your information is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy. In short: your employer is responsible for your information in Spotless, and Spotless processes it for them. Spotless does not give anyone scores or rankings of individual staff, and it does not track your location in the background.
Messages
If you turn on messages on Telegram, WhatsApp or email, those services keep a copy of what is sent under their own terms. You can turn messages off at any time, or reply STOP.
When you leave
When your employer removes you, you are signed out at once. After a grace period your name and number are erased; the record of work done stays, without your name.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, Spotless will ask you to accept the new version in the app. You can keep working while you decide.
